To Choose Freedom
This essay is about the ability to consciously choose mankind’s future based on individual choices. I state my case using three philosophical texts to back it up. While writing this piece, I spent a lot of time reflecting on the argument I presented and it has left an impression on me ever since.

This is an early essay from my second year of undergrad that discusses how language is important to identity. In the face of colonization, the native language is an important element to maintaining a culture. This essay looks at Ngugi wa Thiong’o and his use of Gikuyu to preserve Kenyan culture.
